                               RESOLUTION NO. 19545
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
                   EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH PROVIDENT LIFE AND
                   ACCIDENT INSURANCE COMPANY AND CHARTER
                   PROPERTIES, RELATIVE TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF
                   A SANITARY SEWER IN THE PROPOSED OVERLOOK
                   STREET AT GUNBARREL ROAD NEAR ITS
                   INTERSECTION WITH SHALLOWFORD ROAD, WHEREBY
                   THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA WILL PAY AN AMOUNT
                   NOT TO EXCEED TWENTY-FOUR THOUSAND, THREE
                   HUNDRED EIGHTY-FIVE AND NO/100 DOLLARS
                   ($24,385.00), WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL, AS ITS
                   PRO RATA SHARE OF THE COST OF THE SEWER
                   EXTENSION.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Mayor be and is hereby 
authorized
       to execute an agreement with Provident Life and Accident 
Insurance
       Company and Charter Properties, relative to the construction of a 

       sanitary sewer in the proposed Overlook Street at Gunbarrel Road
       near its intersection with Shallowford Road, whereby the City of
       Chattanooga will pay an amount not to exceed $24,385.00, without
       prior approval, as its pro rata share of the cost of the sewer
       extension.
